The polypropylene filter cartridge (5 micron) is designed for the removal of sand, silt, dirt and rust particles. The integrated GAC (granular activated carbon) effectively reduces unpleasant odors and chlorine taste from water. This cartridge is intended for water filtration only and fits most standard in-line filter housings.

Warnings - This filter will not remove cysts, bacteria or viruses. Do not use with microbiologically unsafe water or water of unknown quality without adequate pre- and post-disinfection. GAC must be installed facing upward.
Service Life and Replacement
The cartridge is single-use and its lifespan depends on the quality of the incoming water and usage frequency. Typical service life is 3–12 months or approximately 6,000 liters. Replace earlier if flow rate decreases or water quality declines.
