IceMaster G40 JoinTech Glycol Chiller with 4 Pumps
Code: KL47364Product detailed description
The IceMaster G40 JoinTech is a compact compressor-based glycol chiller designed for precise temperature control during fermentation and beverage cooling. Equipped with four independently controlled pumps and digital temperature controllers, it can cool up to four fermentation vessels simultaneously, each with its own temperature setting.
- This chiller is suitable for homebrewers and small breweries. It can be used to maintain stable fermentation temperatures, perform cold crashing, or provide additional wort cooling. According to the manufacturer, it is capable of cooling up to four well-insulated fermentation vessels of approximately 60 litres each.
- The unit features a fully enclosed 30-litre coolant reservoir, four integrated submersible pumps, and an STC-1000 digital controller for adjusting the coolant temperature. Each cooling circuit has its own digital controller and temperature probe.
- The cooling circuits are equipped with 1/2" JoinTech Dry Break fittings, allowing convenient connection and disconnection of cooling lines. Compatible JoinTech female connectors with 13mm hose barbs must be purchased separately.

For operation below freezing temperatures, a suitable mixture of water and propylene glycol must be used. The manufacturer recommends approximately 20% glycol concentration, allowing the coolant temperature to be set to around −4°C.
Please note:
- The stated cooling capacity is based on the manufacturer's specifications at an ambient temperature of 22°C. Actual cooling performance and achievable temperatures depend on ambient temperature, the volume and initial temperature of the liquid being cooled, the number of connected vessels, and the quality of their insulation. For efficient operation, both the fermentation vessels and all cooling lines must be properly insulated. Higher ambient temperatures or increased heat losses may significantly reduce the actual cooling performance.
- When using the chiller for hot wort cooling, the wort must first be cooled with water to below 50°C to avoid overloading the compressor.
- Adequate ventilation is essential. Maintain at least 100 mm of clearance around all ventilation openings.
- Propylene glycol, cooling hoses, and JoinTech female hose connectors are not included.
