The alkaline solution is highly effective, meeting the highest cleanliness standards for beer and other beverage lines in the food industry. It dissolves beer stone and effectively limits its formation. The sanitizing liquid is odorless and has a strong disinfecting effect.

• Contains: potassium peroxydisulfate, orthophosphoric acid.
• Dosage: A 2% (up to 5%) solution is recommended, depending on the degree of contamination and method of application.

Beercleaner is an alkaline sanitizing concentrate designed to clean and sanitize beer lines. It dissolves beer stone and limits its formation. It is odorless and chlorine-free, based on active oxygen.

Safety warnings

• The product is corrosive and can cause severe skin burns and eye damage.
• Use protective gloves, safety goggles, protective clothing, and possibly a face shield.
• In case of contact with eyes: rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do, then continue rinsing.
• If swallowed: rinse the mouth, do not induce vomiting.
• If inhaled: move victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.

Dilution and dosing

• Recommended dilution: 2 % or 5 % solution, depending on degree of contamination and application method.
• For heavily soiled lines, higher concentration or longer contact time may be necessary.
• For optimal effect, combination with an acidic sanitizing agent (e.g. Beercleaner O2 Active) is recommended every third sanitization.

Usage procedure (general recommended steps)

• Drain any leftover beer from the lines and open taps.
• Prepare the diluted Beercleaner solution (2 % or 5 %) according to contamination level.
• Fill the cleaning solution into a cleaning reservoir or connect it to the draft system so it can flow through tubing, faucets, etc.
• Allow the solution to flow through the entire system, covering all parts of the draft line.
• Allow it to act for a period (depending on requirement). (Check your equipment manufacturer for recommended contact time.)
• Then flush the entire system thoroughly with warm water, until the system is free of chemical residue.
• When using in combination with acidic agent: once in three sanitizations, use the acidic product (e.g. Beercleaner O2 Active) to dissolve deposits and scale.
