The wort plate chiller is a highly-efficient device. It chiller your wort quickly and efficiently.

The Wort chiller is made from stainless steel and brazed together with pure copper. It also has ripples up and down each plate. This creates more surface area and improves heat transfer.

Be sure to screen the wort as grain or hop residue can clop the chiller, and be very difficult to remove.

Vertical installation is recommended to minimize sediment build-up and reduce maintenance.

Connect the pipes in a manner where liquids move in a counter-flow direction, which will maximize the heat transfer.

Cleaning

Flush the wort side of the chiller out immediately after use. Soak the chiller in sanitizer and throughly rinse the wort-side out with clean water. Allow the chiller to air dry between uses. You can also boil the chiller to clean an sanitize it.
